YTVideoToMP4 respects the rights of copyright owners. We do not host videos, but because our tool can be used to convert videos, we block specific videos when a rights holder asks us to.
How to send a notice
Email support [at] ytvideotomp4.com with the subject line "DMCA notice" and include:
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
- The YouTube link(s) of the video(s) you want blocked from our service.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do
- We review complete notices within 2 business days.
- Valid notices: the reported video IDs are added to our block list, and the converter refuses them from then on.
- We reply to confirm what we blocked.
Incomplete notices may delay action. Sending a false notice can make you liable for damages.
Counter-notice
If you believe a video was blocked by mistake (for example, you own it or it is licensed for reuse), email support [at] ytvideotomp4.com with the subject "DMCA counter-notice" and include your contact details, the blocked YouTube link, a statement under penalty of perjury that the block was a mistake, and your signature. We will forward it to the person who filed the original notice and may restore access if they don't respond with legal action within 10–14 business days.
Repeat abuse
We may block connections that repeatedly use the service to convert reported or clearly infringing content.
